Happy August!

Where has this year gone? It’s already August, my lovely readers! Can you believe it? This means that before we know it, glorious weather will descend upon the horrid state of Florida. 😛 Granted, we still have a while, but don’t burst my bubble of excitement!

There is a lot going on this month; just a few being: the visit of my grandma and cousin (today), celebrating two months with the boyfriend (10th), as well as my first day of college (22nd). Woot, woot!

So lovely people, I just wanted to wish you a happy 1st. I hope that this month is off the chain, the bees knees, awesome possum, and any other catchy phrase you may be able to think of. (:

POST SCRIPT: this is my 230th post since switching to WordPress! Wootcakes! xD

Baby, it’s FREEZING outside!

Oh, lovely winter, how I adore you. I am infatuated with the way you creep up out of nowhere and bite my toes. Between us both, you completely surprised my nose; he didn’t expect to lose all feelings so suddenly. Winter, you fascinate me with how you persuade a claustrophobic being to wear socks, and enjoy it. The mystery of how 45 degrees was okay for shorts, inside my home, but how 35 degrees has brought me to my knees — freezing. Here I write you, dearest winter, with two blankets, slippers/socks, sweat pants, a t-shirt, and a hoodie; the truth is I’m thinking you’re just moody. Oh, but don’t get me wrong, I enjoy you all season long, for you are my absolute favorite of them all.

Things I Love Thursday.

Thursday, Thursday, Thursday! Hopefully you know what day it is; hopefully you knew it before you even reached my blog. Well, aware of the day or not, I hope you enjoy! After you are done reading, feel free to let me know something that you love/made your week. (:

feeling extremely loved — happiness — having conversations of sleeping habits, claustrophobic socks, and heaters with friends. — long naps — the awesome, cool weather that we have been having — bonfires — marshmallow fights with my brother and his girlfriend — how cold weather changes my cat’s attitude — letting things go — feeling beautiful — getting random “*hug*” texts — my literature class — expectation — my awesome Econ. teacher — this website. I could spend hours on it! — pencil art by Jennifer Maestre —  this blog post with typographic animation to a poem by Ronnie Bruce — this blog post with a video by Steven Johnson — going through different lists of phobias with David (you would be surprised at what some people are scared of!) — starting a collaboration with Taylor, my blogging and her video talents — waking up to learn that Soot decided to sleep on my feet — hearing my grandmother talk sarcastically about football (sarcasm must run in the family!) — randomly throwing the basketball behind me, just to hear it “swish” in the net — worship.

Have an awesome rest of the week!
